Robot vacuums and mops are increasingly adept, passing our cleaning tests and tackling a variety of floor types. Look for models that allow you to select between several modes, utilize their charging dock to self-empty, and clean up stairs.
Many of the best models are compatible with smartphones. Check for an application that lets you save maps, schedules, and choose cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
The black and gloss gunmetal Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is among the most impressive mop and robot vacuum combos available. It uses lidar for navigation, creating maps of floors and rooms.
The S1 was able to map my downstairs quickly, which has linoleum flooring in the dining area, kitchen and bathrooms and a medium-pile and a large rug. It was capable of driving close to walls and even across raised thresholds without issue. However, it had some difficulty navigating down the stairs in one pass. The S1 performed well in cleaning hard floors. Its mop moved smoothly on its flat side and lifted itself when it reached carpets or carpets.
After every mopping session, the docking station of the S1 automatically emptys its trash bin and refills the water tank onboard with clean filtered ozonated water. The dock also adds a cleaning solution into the water for deep cleaning. The S1 water tank is able to hold up to 12 mopping sessions, however this will vary depending on the frequency you use the mop.
The S1 needs periodic maintenance, just like other 2-in-1 robots. You'll need to periodically rinse out the tank that has been contaminated to keep it from becoming blocked. Also, you'll need to clean the swivel wheel and sensors regularly to keep them from becoming clogged with dust or dirt. However, overall the S1 is easy to maintain, especially when compared to other combinations that require more hands-on maintenance.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
Ecovacs all-in-one robot vacuum and mop is an effective solution to your cleaning needs. The robot vacuum has 8700Pa suction power, and comes with many unique features, including voice control and smart path planning that cleans furniture and avoids obstacles. robotvacuummops mopping ability is impressive. Rotating mop heads actually lift the floor and scrub it, rather than simply moving a pad across the surface. The mops are also cleaned and dried in the base station when needed.

Its navigation capabilities are pretty solid as well, though it can sometimes get caught in the small carpets or area mats that I have in my home (which is something you can control by creating a virtual boundary within the application). Its mopping is quite impressive, and comes with a pair of spin mop pads that actually lift and scrub floors, instead of simply dragging the pad over it. The mops can be cleaned using heated water and dried in the basestation whenever required. The mops are also refilled at the top of the station when they are required.
3. Dreame X40 ultra
Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop was released earlier this year. But their new flagship model comes with even more impressive features. It boasts fantastic cleaning results and hands-free maintenance, making it a clear contender on our top robot vacuum and mop list. Its superior mapping abilities, RGB AI smart detection and a larger side brush ensure that an effective, customized cleaning is accomplished.
The X40 Ultra vacuums well, removing both fine and large debris. It works equally well on carpets and hard floors. It cleaned the dirtiest places of our tests efficiently while avoiding pet hairs and other dirt. The sweeping performance of the machine is enhanced by a sidebrush that swings out in order to reach hard-to-reach areas, and mop pads that extend across baseboards.
Its navigation is nimble it can navigate narrow spaces and climbing stairs without skipping a beat. Its mops are also impressive with 2700Pa of power to tackle dirt, dust, and pet hair on both carpets and hard floors. The Q5 is among the few robots we test that didn't have problems with carpets with high piles or area rugs, but it couldn't clean up kitty litter or cable tangles that's not a surprise considering it doesn't include AI-powered obstacle avoidance.
5. K10 Plus
K10 Plus is the quietest robotic vacuum we've ever tested. It also has a unique mapping system that allows it to reach corners and tight places that other vacuums cannot. It also collects more dust in the bin, which means you don't have to empty it as often. Furthermore, it comes with washable filters, which reduces the cost of using the device. The robot is able to detect carpets, and increase suction when needed. You can also mark areas you would like to be able to keep from using the app.
